Two reports have been created for your review. Total points for 2006 and 2007 and a detail report that shows how everyone earned their points. There are multiple places to go on the web to verify your point totals. For state events go to the tournament section atwww.nevadawomensgolf.org. Southern Nevada results can be found at www.wsnga.org. However, there are some results used that are not posted on wsnga.org SNV 2006 participation and SNV 2007 participation . If we have made a mistake, don't take it personally, just contact Sherry Jackson at 367-5831 by May 15 to get the corrections made. No corrections will be made after that date.

On 3/17/08 the WSNGA board further defined how Silver Cup points will be awarded.

One point is awarded for participating in:
  • Nevada State Amateur (Canon/championship or Pasutti flights)
  • Nevada State Partners
  • Nevada State Quad
  • Southern Nevada Amateur
  • Silver Cup Qualifier (if you make the team you don't get this point)
  • Silver Cup (when the location is Las Vegas)


    • Two points are awarded for participating in:
  • Silver Cup (when the location is in Northern Nevada)


    • One point is awarded for placing top 10 in either the net or gross division for the following events:
  • Nevada State Amateur (Canon/championship or Pasutti flights)
  • Southern Nevada Amateur


    • Points are accumulated over a two year period with 15 being the most points you can earn.

    Any player that has officially started play in a qualifying event but is subsequently disqualified or withdraws will receive a participation point.

    The Silver Cup team consists of 20 players. The top 10 golfers on the points list will automatically qualify for the 2008 Silver Cup. The rest of the team will be selected through a qualification process (see www.wsnga.org tournament schedule for the dates). If there are people tied at the 10th spot that puts the total qualifiers over 10, then all those tied at the 10th spot have to play in the qualifier.
