Nevada State Women's Golf Association

The Nevada State Women's Golf Association (NSWGA) is made up of regional golf associations in the state of Nevada. The purpose of the state association is to promote golf, provide state amateur tournaments and to coordinate the work of the USGA. The state association is made up of delegates representing the state's regional associations.

2009 PARTNERS TOURNAMENT RESULTS
The first state tournament of the year, State Partners, was held on June 16th in Henderson at Dragon Ridge Country Club. The tournament was well attended with over 45 two-person teams attending. The final day began with two teams tied for the lead, Johnson/Bowman and Higa/Jackson at 72. These two teams were being stalked by the team of Knott/Emes at 73. The round ended with the Johnson/Bowman and Higa/Jackson tied at 145 and a return to hole #1 for a playoff. The playoff ended quickly with a lipout for birdy by Higa and a birdy make by Bowman. CHANGES TO THE TOURNAMENT STANDING RULES
The Board of Directors met on September 29th at Somersett Country Club in Reno. You can review the minutes for the meeting by going to the "Historical Meeting Minutes" link to the left. The tournament standing rules were also revised and can be found at the links to the left as well.
